     Hi,

I had gone to the Kawai booth at NAMM and there was a advertising for a "k5000
programming book". I ask about it to a guy from Kawai but they didn't
know about it, they had just receive the advertisement 2 day before. It's
suppose to be a book coming from Germany that also include a disk . He said I
should contact him in about 2 week to know more about this book.

"Introduction to Additive Synthesis..." arrived today as promised by Kawai.
It's physically smaller than I expected and only 144 pages. But here's the good
news: It comes with a floppy with more patches and it appears there is very
little recapping of the owner's manual. They say up front that the book expects
you to have a fairly good working knowledge of the 5000 architecture from the
start. It was a bit pricey considering the size, but there ain't much choice to
the matter. Now that I have it, I am looking forward to getting started so....later
